Dear all...

Hiiiiiiiiiiiii!XD Long time no see folks.. Im back in KL, in my house, in my room, on my chair, in front of my lappie, staring at the screen, typing furiously on the keyboard NOW! I just came back from Ipoh and Penang this evening...

To be honest, i suffered abit when i went back (to my hometown- ipoh and to Penang for vacation) because i can't fb or blog along the way! (I think im kinda addicted to blogging now cuz i feel like typing out whatever thought that goes through my mind XD) To add up the misery, my cousin sister, Annie was not back from KTAR plus she could not join us (me, parents, aunts, uncle and cousins) to Penang and i was half bored...! :(

I went back Ipoh early in the morning and i DROVE ALL THE WAY back there! WOOooo HI5 for me folks.. After me and my parents unloaded our luggage from the car, we headed to my aunt's flower shop.. (she's a florist so if anyone of you wanna buy flower, you can order from my aunt and ask fedex to deliver it all the way from Ipoh XD) Soon, it started raining like CATS and DOGS! It rained so heavily that the front of my aunt's shop started to flood! Apparently, the drains are half blocked and no one bothers to come and clean up. My aunt freaked when some of the rain water started to seep through the doors. Me and my cousin, Qing quickly helped my aunt to lift up all the cardboxes containing her flowers... Luckily, the rain receeded and the shop was not flooded with rain water. PHEW.

After a little bit of dramas here and there, i went to bed at night after taking to bee on the phone.. I missed him and we were away from each other a few thousands miles apart... :( With that i fallen asleep because i had to wake up the next day to depart to Penang! (Lagi jauh.. kan)

I woke up on Thursday morning feeling abit sick with a slight fever... I quickly drowned my stomach with a few cups of water... The tasteless breakfast did not cheer up my morning blueezzzz either... :( Fortunately, i got caught up with the excitement as we started to make way to penang in 2 cars! Fyi, this trip is organized by my mom and there were 11 of us.. XD 6 are young adults (me and my cousins) and 5 not-so-young adults (my parents, my aunts and my uncle).. haha...

All right, lets cut the crap.. I reached penang at appx 12pm and we headed to Kek Lok Si for SHOPPPING!!! Of course, we went up the pagoda.. Boy that was fun! There were so many "layers" in that pagoda and we had to climb all the way up to the highest floor but it was worth the climbing because it was so freaking cooling up there and the view was awesome!!!!

After that, we made our way down back to the ground. As we made our way through the stairway from Kek Lok Si, we shopped... As usual.. I bought a necklace, a hat and a t shirt there. We reached the bottom with arms full of bags... XD Then our grumbling stomach guided us to the nearest Asam Laksa stall... Now, that is what i call food! (Im drooling now thinking of the yummy asam laksa and the mouth watering ice- kacang) After having a satisfying meal, we headed to Leisure Cove Resort.

We chilled in our unit and me and my cousins were soon making our way to the beach behind our resort. Unfortunately, i forgot to bring along my camera and we did not get to cam-whore there... ish.. we had so much fun there...! All 6 of us picked out some awesome shells and had fun in the sea water.. We saw a hermit crab floating around and we put it inside a glass bottle... Then, we poured in some sand and we buried the glass bottle.. well sorta half buried the bottle in the sandjust for fun..haha.. too bad we didnt take any photo..

At night, we went to batu ferringhi for dinner. It was a posh place because both sides are aligned with 5 stars hotels like Shangri-La's hotel, Park Royal... and boy oh boy, the SHIP is so damn huge! The Ship in Batu Ferringhi is built like a ship with the body where else the ones in KL only have the bow... and this place is full of verrecarachi!!! (overseas tourists/guilao/mat salleh).. The food court where we had lunch is like the sri hartamas food court... The gui laos went there for dinner and i felt so local-ish.. After dinner, we planned to shop around the stalls.. UNFORTUNATELY, all the bags, shoes, accessories sold there are damn expensive! i saw a few pairs of fake Adidas shoes and i was tempted to buy one cuz of its beautiful design but the salesman refused to sell to us at a cheap price! He didnt even bother to layan us because these people rather ignore us and sell their goods to the non-local tourists at skyrocketting price! He said he could only sell the pair of shoes at RM50!!! WTH... i expect that fella to be defeated to my mom's extraordinary bargaining skills... -_-'

We returned to the resort empty handed, tired and a little bit dissappointed.. I hit the pillows and soon i was off to dreamland... (of course, after talking to bee on the phone XD) The next day was a rush... First, we had breakfast at some random food court because we didnt know where to eat... It was raining heavily and i had to read the map to help navigate my dad through the streets of penang.. ( I award myself 3.5/5 stars as a navigator :D) Unfortunately, the map doesnt show which streets are one way and sometimes we had to make a big round to reach our destination.. After that, we went to Toy Museum, Butterfly farm, lunch and at 5pm we were on our way back to Ipoh... The lunch was worth the twists-and-turns (we could not seem to go to our destination without challenges) because the rojak and the nasi lemak were superb!!!

This is basically what i had for the past few days... Overall, it was a fun and exciting trip because i got to spend quality time with my family... the only regret is i dint get to do shopping because we were rushing home on friday.. i feel like going there again and the next time i go, i must go to komtar there and shop till i drop! and try get that pair of adidas shoes!!! (Fyi, i think im obssessed with shoes.. haha.. my bf always complains that i have too many shoes... more than enough, that's what he said... but its fashion!!!!)

All right, enough of whining... i think i better go sleep cuz tomorrow i have to attend my cousin's wedding (from my father's side).... So.. gd night people... sweet dreams...

Fyi dad bought a GPS...
